Our Truly Sumptuous Gold Curtain Velvet is a rich, deep shade and there are lots more colours available in this lovely range - from a dark, thick black to lighter more subtle and muted shades.  
This fabric is a soft furnishing velvet, widely used for curtains, drapes, cushions and other interior home projects. Also used on occasions when a clothing fabric is required and dressmaking velvet is not considered to be heavy enough - such as making an outdoor jacket
We don't recommend it for upholstery work unless the item is for decorative purposes only because the pile is not sturdy enough to cope with everyday wear and tear required for seating or foot stools etc.
